Chris Rue
Chris
grew up in Jupiter and has been involved with the game as a player and
coach in South Florida for over 30 years. As a player, Chris was a four year varsity letter winner
at Jupiter High School where he was inducted into the Wall of Fame. He competed for and won
some of the most prestigious youth tournaments in the world, including Dallas Cup, Tampa Sun
Bowl and Gothia Cup. Chris was also a Florida State Cup winner and South Region ODP player
who earned a four year scholarship to Florida International University where he finished 8th All
Time leading scorer. Chris ended his career at FIU as an assistant coach in 1996 competing for
a Div 1 national championship. Upon moving back to Jupiter, he began developing youth players
and became head coach at his alma mater, JHS. He spent 4 years as the head coach of JHS
earning PB County coach of the year honors in 2002 when the team reached the state finals.
With the birth of his two sons, Chris shifted his attention to player development and has aided
with the placement of over 40 kids into college soccer programs and a few who have continued
as professionals. He believes the crop of players coming through the SSA program will attain the
same lofty goals.
"SSA has provided a platform for players to advance their development
dramatically. The players coming through the program are more soccer savvy and have greater
technical skill. This is being accomplished in a fun, player centered, environment fostering a true
passion for the game."

Chris Niebling
As a Midwest native, I grew up in a generation that played all sports and thrived
in P.E. or Gym class. Sports were a social platform for me as child and my athletic diet consisted of
indoor soccer, baseball, tennis and basketball - most if not all at the Recreational level or through
pickup games. It wasn't until I moved to Jupiter, Florida as a teenager when I began to focus on one
particular sport that I had developed a deep passion for: soccer.
Hard work and enthusiasm were the tools I would use to reach a level that would provide me an
opportunity to play beyond high school and club soccer. Fortunately, I was rewarded and my playing
experience did extend beyond Jupiter to Maryland where I played midfield for Towson University and
eventually to England as a defender, for Football Conference side, Braintree Town FC.
As a coach and trainer, I have worked with a wide range of age and skill levels from recreational &
competitive clubs to schools & church groups. My core competency is agility & balance training as it
relates functionally to the game of soccer and my philosophy is entirely based on the idea that
"practice makes permanent".
SSA is the most positive social organization I have been involved with in youth sport and at sharp end
of the Futsal movement in the US. I'm proud to be partners in the creation of an environment that
stimulates players athletic development while fostering passion for the game, respect and
camaraderie.
